Actually, our story began in 1999 in Istanbul. Tekhne comes from the words “craftsmanship and skill,” and Logos comes from “reason and order.” By combining these words, we aimed to move towards the future. As Tekhnelogos, we bring together technology and humanity at the center through an engineering universe where science and art are blended.
For the first time in Turkey and the world, we digitalized architectural and engineering projects with open machine intelligence. During Turkey's natural gas transformation process, we moved the project copyright and approval processes to a digital platform based on engineering algorithms. By quickly adapting to the development of technology, we contributed to the production of fast and reliable projects, saving time and paper consumption with the products we developed.
In natural gas installation projects, the most important factor was the speed and safety of project copyright and control processes. Before ZetaCAD, specification control done by humans was time-consuming and prone to errors. With the e-project concept we developed, around 300 geometric and arithmetic checks can be done flawlessly. This made fast and secure project production possible. Previously, project approval processes that took 20 days can now be completed within hours. On the other hand, the most important aspect I focused on when creating ZetaCAD’s conceptual design was ensuring that the drawing and design phases could be solved with practical command systems. This was constantly in my mind when designing ZetaCAD. I persisted until I made a command system as ergonomic and user-friendly as possible.
As a result, a project that would take 2 hours with standard drawing programs like AutoCAD can now be designed in 5-10 minutes with ZetaCAD, all calculations are done automatically, and even specification control can be performed. In this way, we have brought the concept of project design and drawing to a much higher level. The approach of ZetaCAD has still not been surpassed within or outside the industry for 20 years. After 20 years, I am experiencing the peace of mind in realizing my dream of an intelligent software that can perform specification control.
DİPOS is a digital universe that includes various software, enabling the entire natural gas installation project process to be digitalized, from project drawing in CAD programs to system control via mobile devices. In addition to archiving project drawings with e-signatures digitally and getting approvals without going to gas distribution companies, it saves paper and time, bringing all installation companies together with technology. This contributes to efficiency and customer satisfaction.
What advantages do your natural gas solutions offer in addition to saving time? What are the environmental contributions of your products?The gases released into the atmosphere by human activities create a greenhouse effect, leading to an increase in surface temperatures on Earth. We believe that the most effective solution lies in individual awareness regarding consumption flow, and we are working towards reducing our carbon footprint. Through our products, we reduce paper consumption, fuel usage, public sector activities, waste generation, and labor, contributing to changes in the life cycle.
By reducing vehicle traffic, we are decreasing fuel consumption. As a result, we have prevented the emission of 15 million kg of carbon so far. By eliminating paper printing, we have saved over 45,000 trees from being cut down and prevented the release of 95 million kg of carbon dioxide. Seeing the results of our contributions to nature makes us very happy.
Yes, we are working with our solution partners, which include gas distribution companies, to carry out this process. They have played a significant role in spreading our vision for digitalization in the industry throughout the country. The collaborations we have conducted are based on mutual trust and dedication. I firmly believe that together, we can bring many more innovations to the industry. I would like to thank them all through you for their contributions over the past 20 years.
As the Tekhnelogos family, we consider all of our users who have been with us for 20 years as our representatives in their respective regions. Over 6,000 companies and their employees, who provide services to the end consumer, the installation subscribers, are walking this path with us. When we started this journey, we were a smaller, engineering-based team. Our primary goal was to digitalize the entire process, which was revolutionary for the industry. The ability to prepare fast, easy, and error-free projects made everyone in the industry very happy. Seeing this happiness motivated us even more. Currently, with nearly 60 employees, we continue to develop all our products.
Yes, we do. We are preparing a new product that will be included in the DİPOS universe. This product will feature both a residential module and an industrial module. In the industrial module, in addition to the residential module, projects can be designed with different devices and device groups that have high industrial consumption. One of the best features is that any user who can design in one module will also be able to design in the other module.
We built our brand with a spirit of research and development, and we are a team that is open to learning and shares a common vision. Under this roof, we not only produce but also learn, using the knowledge we gather to build a future institute. We contribute to culture, art, and technology, staying close to all innovations. To remain pioneers and leaders, we will continue to evolve, develop, and learn.
Our Human Resources department and managers conduct a thorough process for our internship program, carefully designing each step. During our 2-month internship program, interns continue their education while working as part of the TekhneStars team to create a real project. During this process, each intern is assigned a mentor, ensuring that they work closely with an expert throughout their development. The TekhneStars program is also a talent hunt for us. Therefore, when filling our open positions, our priority is to evaluate our intern team and offer them career opportunities.
As Tekhnelogos, we are very aware of how important local production is for a country. To increase the added value of our country, we produce our products by utilizing our skills and local components to the highest possible level. In our products, we prioritize maximum benefit for humanity and society. We believe that accessible technology will open paths that eliminate opportunities inequality. With our digitalization process, the technologies we have developed have both facilitated the operation of the natural gas industry and enabled problems to be solved quickly and easily.
